Fall Drink Recipe: Bourbon Apple Cider Thyme Punch
Credit: Caitlin Bensel
Inspired by our first fall print drop, Greenwich, we had to share a cocktail as crisp & cool as their autumn! With apple picking being a popular past-time in Connecticut, it only seemed fitting to feature Southern Living’s Bourbon Apple Cider Thyme Punch recipe. You’ll definitely want to mix this fresh & fruity cocktail up for your next fall-iday party.
Makes 8 servings.
4 cups apple cider
2 1/2 cups (20 oz.) bourbon
1 (10-oz.) bottle club soda
1/2 cup Thyme Simple Syrup
12 dashes of Angostura bitters
1 Fuji apple, thinly sliced
- Stir together apple cider, bourbon, club soda, Thyme Simple Syrup & bitters in a large punch bowl or pitcher.
- Serve over ice, and garnish with apple slices and thyme sprigs.
This cocktail makes us want to go apple picking ASAP! We hope you enjoy pairing this sweet cocktail with our fun fall prints. We’ll be sending many cute fall dresses & tops your way, so keep an eye out for our next drop.
With new fall dresses, golden leaves & cooler weather, we’re definitely looking forward to autumn this year. Sun protection is important all year round, so to keep you sun safe & stylish this fall we are releasing a whole new collection of fall prints! Things kick off this week with our Greenwich print drop. For this design, we were inspired by the gorgeous colors of this coastal town’s fall foliage.
