Where to Stay

Start your adventures off in Rutherford at the Auberge du Soleil (pictured above). Wake up to the sun glittering across the vines at this dazzling resort, and go for a refreshing dip in the pool. Or go for a more intimate stay at the 1801 First Luxury Inn. With cozy cottage accommodations, you'll feel like you’re staying at a home away from home.

What to Do

There are hundreds of wineries, vineyards & tasting-rooms in Napa. There's no limit to the delights you’ll find! Where you go depends on what kind of wine you like & what sort of tasting-experience you want.

Surrounded by oak trees & vines, the Groth Vineyards & Winery is multigenerational family-owned, famous for being the first 100-point U.S. wine from critic Robert Parker. For hilltop views & Bordeaux head to Rutherford Hill Winery. And if you’re in the mood for something bubbly, Domaine Carneros is known for its sparkling wines. For stunning cabernets head to Larkmead Vineyards, they’re one of the oldest, family-owned grape growing estates in Napa Valley!

Soar over dazzling vistas & radiant vineyards with Napa Valley Aloft or Napa Valley Balloons. Both are renowned for their safety and highly rated tours. Make sure to bring your camera to capture those breathtaking moments!

Take the Wine Train! Sit back, relax & take in the sights on the Napa Valley Wine Train. For a quick ride or an all day excursion, this refurbished vintage locomotive will take you around some of Napa’s most iconic vineyards. Their in car experiences range from a Gourmet Express, to Afternoon Tea, to a Murder Mystery!

Where to Eat

Yountville in Napa Valley is known as the culinary capital! For brunch, head to Lucy for “field-to-fork” culinary delights. Then, grab a pastry from Bouchon Bakery, a popular French-style boulangerie from Chef Thomas Keller, who also owns Michelin-starred The French Laundry. Another award-winning eatery, Chef Ken Frank’s landmark restaurant, La Toque has earned a Michelin Star every year they have been given in Wine Country.

While there are Michelin starred restaurants all around, we suggest for at least one meal you grab a basket and go for a picnic in a vineyard. Need help creating the perfect Instagram-worthy charcuterie board? Check out our Napa Valley inspired Rosé Charcuterie Board Guide. Spread a blanket at Pope Valley Winery, or for a no-frills all fun winery, stop by Dutch Henry Winery.
