Coastal Cottage Cabana Shift Dress

This is the third shift dress I’ve bought from Csbana Life. I wore it to my birthday party at our beach house and it was perfect.

Recently discovered the brand. Love the shift dresses. Easy to wear and they make me feel stylish. The fabric is super comfortable. I now have six in various colors & patterns. Perfect for summer travel.

This is so comfortable and versatile. I always get compliments wherever I go!

I have a large in another style from Cabana Life that fits perfectly so I was comfortable ordering a final sale. However, this dress is cut small through the bust area but it is too long. I am 5'5 and 135 pounds. This dress should have fit better.

I purchased this dress (or very similar dress from this company) in May 2024. I purchased for a wedding in FL. Prior to the wedding, I sent my friends (who live in NJ) photos of me in various dresses. I was feeling anxious b/c post-Covid, I felt out of practice when it came to getting 'dressed up.' My friends unanimously selected this Cabana Life dress, so I went with it. It fit well. It was flattering in all the right places and it was meant to be comfortable in the heat. At the beginning of the wedding reception, when guests were mingling, I was getting a lot of compliments on the dress from friends/friends-of-friends/etc. Then, lo and behold - I had no idea this would happen - I was approached by another wedding guest who works for this company! Turns out he and one of the founders of the company were friends of either the bride's or groom's family. He was thrilled to see me wearing the dress, and then he introduced to me to one of the founders. She was wonderful. I and my husband, enjoyed talking with these lovely people (strangers to us previously.) It was clear that they were working hard in a small business endeavor and thrilled to see their work 'in action." Regardless, even if I hadn't met them at the wedding (and I have not spoken to them since), I loved the dress. It was perfect for the occasion.

For reference, I'm almost 5'3" and approximately 124 lbs. Am in my early 50's. I might look fit superficially but I appreciate dresses like this that are just a bit forgiving around the belly area.
