"I had melanoma at 25 after years of living in the tanning bed & often refusing to wear sunscreen outside. About 6 months later I started my own interior decorating business, which I still run today. I’m not sure I would have had that courage before my health scare. Since then, my sister was diagnosed with melanoma 2x and we learned that there is a link between it & kidney cancers (the cancer our mom died from). We have gone through genetic testing & advocate for ourselves with our doctors."
