#EscapeMore: Crystal River, FL Style Guide

Florida is filled with local escapes that make us feel like we are thousands of miles away. To bring the vacay to you, we collaborated with influencers & some of our favorite nearby destinations to send them on trips we are all dreaming about. Join the vacay no matter where you are by following along on social media with the #EscapeMore Highlight on our Instagram @cabanalife & stay tuned for more style guides on our blog.

Our next adventurer in this series is style influencer & graphic designer Jami Ray. Her family enjoyed a weekend getaway to the Plantation on Crystal River, an Ascend Hotel. Crystal River is the perfect local for a taste of Old Florida. Natural Springs and charming small town scenery welcomed our travelers. Of course, we packed their bags full of Cabana Life classics, new arrivals and even upcoming collections! Read on to see how they styled these pieces while exploring Crystal River & swimming with the manatees.

The whole family was ready for fun in the sun with stylish sun protection. Jami kept cool & comfortable in her vibrant coral and Classic Cabana aqua St. Barts Bikini Top with the St. Barts Embroidered Wrap Skirt, while her girls wore adorable matching Aqua Citrus Terry Cover Ups. And of course, Dad rocked his coordinating Mint/White Men's Long Sleeve Rashguard and Aqua Citrus Swim Trunks

When they weren't unwinding at their waterfront resort, the family enjoyed swimming with manatees on their boat tour through the Plantation Adventure Center. Crystal River is the largest natural refuge for manatees during the winter, and the only place you can legally swim with manatees. Tour guides taught everyone how to safely swim with manatees and gave an educational talk all about these gentle giants. The tour also provided everything from their wetsuits & snorkels, to hot cocoa & coffee for after their chilly swim.

After an active day, everyone refueled at the poolside tiki hut. It was the perfect spot to lounge & recharge. Jami’s littlest one Collins loved sipping her lemonade and relaxing in her Navy Geo Terry Cover Up. When it came to finer dining, everyone enjoyed dinner at Crystal Plantation’s onsite restaurant West 82
